Wow!
What a summer it’s been. It may have started with uncertainty along with everything else about how it would pan out but boy, it certainly went from strength to strength! The International Horse Show, Carfest, triathlons,and our Mexican Fiesta evening all added to the fun we had and helped us make new friends and new regular customers.
I think the thing we enjoy most on site is seeing guests returning as they love to stay with us – this means we are getting it right and creating a place people feel comfortable and relaxed in. We have experienced ourselves how precious time away is, as lets face it, after everything we’ve all been through it has been very much needed.
Our aim has always been to provide a slower pace of life, nurturing quality down time, and making life long holiday memories whether it’s camping, glamping, or self catering.
Reflecting on the last few months just makes us smile and fills us with anticipation of what the Autumn and Winter months will bring for those on short breaks and holidays with us. The Chester Christmas markets are always a favourite, mulled wine, mince pies, and hot chestnuts whilst ambling through the festive stalls soaking up the Christmas atmosphere.
Back on site if you’re glamping in Oak Pod, staying in your own caravan, motorhome, or camper, or even staying in one of our holiday homes, you can make the most of the cooler nights by sitting in front of a cosy warm fire pit, sipping hot chocolate (or a nice deep red wine), and toasting marshmallow -things that dreams are made of!!!!!
