Well what a great camping year it has been. This weekend we saw the last of our seasonal campers pack up their caravans and awnings getting them ready for winter. Whilst its always sad on the campsite to get to the end of the season, this year its quite exciting as we have lots planned over the winter to get ready to welcome our wonderful guests back next year. Whilst normally we close for the winter camping season, our plans are to be able to keep the campsite open much longer next year. Our new hardstanding pitches mean even in bad weather touring caravans, motorhomes, and campers, will still be able to spend time here at Pitch & Canvas and enjoy camping and caravanning all year round. Each season of the year offers a variety of things to do and see. The winter months are especially beautiful on the Sandstone Ridge and there is lots to do in Chester with things like the Chester Markets and Carol services.
