Had the most amazing stay
‘Having stayed at Broad Oak Farm three years ago and having had the most amazing stay, we have returned every year since.
Quite simply it is the only place we want to go. Suzanne, Drew and family have created the perfect getaway where they ensure that not only is it comfortable but also memorable.
The two caravans are amazingly spacious and comfortable and a home from home, as they ensure you have all you need and more. We honestly can’t imagine not coming here, we look forward to it all year and count the days to the following. ‘
Great little break in the Cheshire countyside
‘We booked the Peckforton View caravan as a last-minute break for 2 nights over the Easter holidays. The site was quiet but that gave our youngest plenty of space to play football.
The village of Tattenhall is a 5 min drive away with a couple of pubs shops and a well-stocked spar. We had a drink in the sportsman’s bar which was lovely and can recommend the fish and chips from the chippy.
We walked to the candle workshops which was a great day for young children, the pheasant inn is also worth a visit.’

‘Our first stay at Pitch and Canvas was back in 2014 and we had such a great time that we have stayed there regularly ever since. We like it so much that we have even holidayed there with three different groups of friends and family.
The hosts are welcoming, and friendly, the caravans are always spotlessly clean, and the location is ideal (near enough to the village for all important shops and pubs, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet).
If you fancy a few days getting away from it all, I would thoroughly recommend booking a break here. You won’t be disappointed!’

Excellent Camping Venue
‘We booked a last minute camping trip and were allocated a great corner position without electricity and welcomed by a friendly and helpful host.
The site isn’t large. It is well located in the Cheshire countryside and close to some visitor attractions and nice pubs. There is easy access to main/A roads nearby but the farm location meant this site was quiet and relaxing.
The site is well maintained and the other guests onsite were very helpful and assisted whilst we pitched our tent for the first time without instructions!
There are washing facilities onsite which were clean and easily accessible. Overall we’d recommend the site to anyone looking for a break in the south Cheshire countryside.’

Brilliant Holiday
‘We stayed in Beeston View caravan (number 2) with our two grandchildren, for four days and had a lovely time.
The caravan was extremely clean and comfortable. The twin beds for the children were comfortable and they slept very well. The double room was very spacious with lots of wardrobe space. The shower was large and very powerful and it was useful having an extra, separate toilet.
The site owners are very friendly and helpful and really want people to have a good holiday. There is plenty of room for children to play outside and the site feels very safe and family friendly.
We would definitely return (with or without children) as it’s also in a great location for visiting Chester, the Zoo, Blue Planet and myriad other places. Excellent’

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend
‘Pod was lovely and clean. Very cosy and warm in the pod with a heater if you needed. Toilets and shower block were spotless.
Plenty to do outside the site – we visited the Ice-cream Farm and Candle Workshop, my son loved them both. Visited a lovely pub (about a 10 min drive) for dinner and on Saturday went to a chippy in Tattenhall village and took it back to the pod.
Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend we would recommend and return.’
