This year we have seen the return of our wonderful school and Duke of Edinburgh stays. One of our key passions is to encourage children to be children and enjoy the outdoors. It’s never going to be liked by every child, but we do believe every child should have the opportunity to try it and make their own minds up.
In 2019 we saw in excess of 1500 young people stay over the season in our dedicated field all of which were an absolute joy.
One of the hardest parts of the pandemic was not seeing the youths visit and knowing the impact it would have on many. This year however, we have been delighted to witness the resilience of these young people partaking in their Bronze and Silver camps working towards their Award.
The great outdoors has so much to offer and we are so lucky to have the amazing Sandstone Ridge on our doorstep for people of all ages to explore.
Well done to everyone who has worked towards their Award this year and we look forward to seeing the return of many students again next year.
